📱 The mobile app
The big one. Getting Sportopotty into the Apple App Store and Google Play as a real app — one you can open with a thumb in a parking lot, not a browser tab you have to go find. That means developer accounts, test devices, build tooling and a lot of review cycles.
🗺️ Keeping the map running
Hosting, the map service, and storage for every photo of every questionable porta-potty in the country. This bill arrives whether anyone donates or not, and it grows every time the map does.
🧰 New features
Better search, sharper team tools, faster photo uploads, and the things you keep asking for in the contact form. Support is what turns a wish list into a changelog.
🚫 What it never buys
Influence. A donation does not change a rating, bury a bad review, move a pin up the list, or get anybody special treatment. The map only works if it's honest, and that isn't for sale at any price.

💬(SMS) alerts
Team alerts still go out by email in the meantime, and your number is kept on file so texts can switch on the day we can afford to do them right.
📲 Push notifications
The free alternative to texting: an alert that lands on your lock screen from the app itself, no carrier in the middle. Needs the mobile app to exist first, which is why that one is at the top of the money list above.
🔎 Enhanced search
"Veterans Park" should get you there without pinching around a map first, and a tournament out of town should be one search, not ten minutes of panning.

Whether you send five dollars or nothing at all, thank you for being here. This started as one parent's idea listening to other paretns at many games, and it only works because thousands of parents decided to file an honest report for the next family in line. That's the whole thing. That's the whole sport.

Can't donate? Here's what's just as valuable
- Drop a pin at your home field. A rated bathroom helps more people than a five-dollar bill does.
- Rate what you find — ratings go stale after 30 days on purpose, so fresh reports are always the most useful thing on the map.
- Tell your team. One group text to a roster does more for this map than anything we could buy.
- Tell a business. Fields, rinks and the coffee shop across the street can claim a free listing at For Business.

Before you give — the legal bit
Sportopotty is a for-profit business, not a registered 501(c)(3) charitable organization. Your donation is not a tax-deductible charitable contribution and should not be claimed as one on any federal, state or local tax return. We do not issue charitable-donation receipts or the written acknowledgement a registered charity would give you, and nothing on this page is tax advice — please talk to your own tax professional about your situation.
A donation buys no goods or services. It does not purchase equity, ownership, membership, a subscription, advertising, priority placement on the map, or any influence whatsoever over ratings, reviews or moderation decisions. Supporters get our thanks, and that is the whole deal.
Donations are voluntary and, because nothing is delivered in exchange, they are generally non-refundable. That said: if you donated by mistake or fumbled the amount, contact us within 30 days and we will refund it — no argument, no questions asked.
Payments are processed by Stripe. Your card details go straight to Stripe and are never seen by, sent to, or stored on Sportopotty's servers. Your statement will show a charge from Sportopotty. We keep only the amount, the date, and the name and email address Stripe hands back to us — and we do not sell, rent or share any of it.
The plans described on this page are our current intentions, not guarantees. Mobile apps are subject to Apple App Store and Google Play review, so we cannot promise any particular feature, any timeline, or that a given app will be approved or published at all.
